The swift technological development of the mushroom culture in all over the world demands a constant updating of structures and knowledge by growers and composting technicians. Since May 2003, the CTICH develops annual training plans, composed of technical sessions and courses.

In the training offer, in constant updating, there are courses and days specifically related to the mushroom culture, composting, post-harvest quality, environment, management tools, etc. The CTICH also offers other courses designed to a bigger professionalization of the grower through the use of computer tools, business management, handling of food, phytosanitary products, etc.

For this purpose, it is equipped with a classroom with capacity to 60 students, various multimedia equipment and growing rooms for the practical demonstration of the theory.
