The “Centro Tecnológico de Investigación del Champiñón de La Rioja (CTICH)” is a researching center founded in 2003 and based in Spain, which aims assisting compost yards and growers to become more competitive.

Mushroom Technological Research Center of La Rioja (CTICH) is assigned by the Government of La Rioja, by agreement, to the Professional Association of Mushroom Growers of La Rioja, Navarra and Aragon.

The main objective is to centralize experimentation and research within cultivated mushroom sector, making the use of new materials and techniques of cultivation and leveraging automation at all stages of the production process.
